2023翻譯碩士考研復習：朱自清散文翻譯解析

燕子去了，有再來的時候;楊柳枯了，有再青的時候;桃花謝了，有再開的時候。但是，聰明的，你告訴我，我們的日子為什么一去不復返呢?——是有人偷了他們罷：那是誰?又藏在何處呢?是他們自己逃走了罷：現在又到了哪里呢?

文章題目《匆匆》，沒有直接對應的英文表達，需要我們對文章進行進一步閱讀，在進行理解。本文是朱自清早年的文章，寫于1922年，文章充滿了詩情畫意以及對時光流逝的無奈。不難發現，匆匆一詞表示的是短暫的，轉瞬即逝的時光，那么我們就可以用Transient Day 來表達。

本段一共四句話，原文第一句的三個分號，運用到了排比的寫作手法，在翻譯時我們盡可能的也要考慮運用三個相似的句式來表達。燕子去了，楊柳枯了，桃花謝了，并不是常態，我們可以用if句式來表達，參考英國詩人雪萊的名句：if winter comes，can spring be far away.

譯文：If swallows go away，they will come back again.If willows wither(使枯萎),they will turn green again.If peaches shed(蛻皮，樹葉脫落) their blossoms,they will flower (n--V開花)again.

2)但是，聰明的，你告訴我，我們的日子為什么一去不復返呢?這句話不難，只需要注意這里聰明的指的是聰明的人即可。

譯文：But，tell me,you the wise,why should our days go by never to return.

3)是有人偷了他們罷：那是誰?又藏在何處呢?

最后兩句語義不確定并且運用了疑問語氣，可以用perhaps來表達。

譯文：Perhaps they have been stolen by someone.But who could it be and where could they hide them?

4) 是他們自己逃走了罷：現在又到了哪里呢?

譯文：Perhaps they have just run away by themselves. But where could they be at present moment.

散文雖然看起來比較難，但實際解析過后我們便會發現，譯文當中并沒有什么生詞難詞，主要在于對文章的理解和同義表達。最后，讓我們一起來欣賞一下整個段落。
